Something new.

Friends.

It's been a while.  After months of radio silence, heartbreak, growth, maturity, etc. - I'm back.  And with some terrifyingly exciting news.  I'm on the hunt... for my own home.  That statement is something I'm still warming to.  You see, friends, I never thought I'd be one to want to own a home; especially all on my own.  It takes a village (to raise a home) and I'm lucky to know people who know people because confession: I've just recently acquired the skill necessary to hang a level picture.

I decided today during a trip to Lowe's that my trifecta of tools would be a power drill, an electric hand sander and a shop vac.  I'm overcome with the notion that there's nothing I can't do armed with those three tools.  The evolution of this idea has taken on many forms.  I've been ambivalent, I've been excited, I've been disappointed, I've been outright heartbroken and then back to ambivalence.  I'm afraid - more than I've ever been - but in the eye of that fear, there's a calm.  I.can.do.this.
